The 'Alan Ball' (qv)-created fantasy drama set ratings records for the network over its seven year run. He co-starred in the feature film _Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase (2019)_ (qv). He starred opposite 'Chrissy Metz' (qv) in _Breakthrough (2019)_ (qv). He appeared in Netflix's dramatic series _The Order (2019)_ (qv) and starred in Sony Television's _Reckoning (2019)_ (qv). He appeared on _Homeland (2011)_ (qv) as Vice-President Benjamin Hayes.In 2014, Trammell co-starred in _The Fault in Our Stars (2014)_ (qv), based on the best-selling novel, with 'Shailene Woodley' (qv) and 'Laura Dern' (qv). He co-wrote, co-produced and starred in the indie film _All Mistakes Buried (2015)_ (qv). His additional film credits include _I Am Wrath (2016)_ (qv) with 'John Travolta' (qv), _Imperium (2016)_ (qv) opposite 'Toni Collette' (qv), _3 Generations (2015)_ (qv), with 'Naomi Watts' (qv), 'Susan Sarandon' (qv) and 'Elle Fanning' (qv).
