Dylan Minnette

Dylan Christopher Minnette was born December 29, 1996 in Evansville, Indiana, to Robyn and Craig Minnette. Scouted by an agent in Chicago, Dylan began work on commercial modeling and acting at the age of seven. He later relocated to Los Angeles, CA to continue his acting career.Dylan scored his first major television role at the age of 8, playing young 'Charlie Sheen' (qv) in _Two and a Half Men (2003)_ (qv). In 2005, he also appeared in an episode of the popular Nickelodeon show, _Drake & Josh (2004)_ (qv).He is often recognized for his role Jack Shepard's son, David, on the ABC drama _Lost (2004)_ (qv). Dylan also made recurring appearances as a young Michael Scofield on the FOX show, _Prison Break (2005)_ (qv), as Clay Norman on TNT's _Saving Grace (2007)_ (qv) and Reed on the TNT series _Men of a Certain Age (2009)_ (qv). Dylan also appeared in the music video for Avril Lavigne's song "Keep Holding On" in 2007.In 2011, 'Dylan Minnette' (qv) appeared in his first major feature film role in the romantic horror _Let Me In (2010)_ (qv) with 'Chloë Grace Moretz' (qv). Not long after, he scored the role as Rex Britten on the critically acclaimed 2012 NBC drama, _Awake (2012)_ (qv).In 2014, Dylan scored guest starring roles on other network shows _Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013)_ (qv) and _Scandal: Bí mat tham do (2012)_ (qv). Meanwhile, he's also been busy cultivating his film career with roles in Warner Bros Pictures' _Prisoners (2013)_ (qv), Paramount Pictures' _Labor Day (2013)_ (qv), 20th Century Fox's _Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (2014)_ (qv) and _Goosebumps (2015)_ (qv) starring with 'Jack Black' (qv).Minnette is the singer/rhythm guitarist in the band Wallows with Zack Mendenhall (bass), Cole Preston (drums) and 'Braeden Lemasters' (qv) (singer/guitar). Wallows won a battle of the bands contest (2010) sponsored by 98.7 FM and played at Vans Warped Tour 2011. The band has since performed at many famous LA venues including The Roxy and Whisky a Go Go. Their song Bleeding Man was used in the promo for season 2 of _R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour (2010)_ (qv).
