«Affliction» ساخته مارک هینار، مستندی کوتاه و تکان‌دهنده است که مرزهای بیان هنری را به چالش می‌کشد. این فیلم با گردآوری تصاویری از هنرمندان و اجراکنندگانی که خود را در معرض دید عموم و گاهی آسیب قرار می‌دهند، تصویری رادیکال از فرهنگ زیرزمینی ارائه می‌دهد. از اجراهای جسورانه جی.جی. آلین گرفته تا هنرهای بصری مایک دیانا و اظهارات خشونت‌آمیز فول فورس فرانک، هر بخش به گونه‌ای طراحی شده که مخاطب را در شوک فرو ببرد. روایت فیلم خطی نیست، بلکه مجموعه‌ای از سکانس‌های کوتاه و شدید است که ریتم تندی را دنبال می‌کند و فضایی پرتنش و غیرقابل پیش‌بینی ایجاد می‌کند. این فیلم نه تنها به نمایش اعمال افراطی می‌پردازد، بلکه به تأمل در معنای «بیان آزاد» در هنری که از هنجارهای اجتماعی فاصله گرفته، دعوت می‌کند.

«من نژادپرستم؟» با محوریت مت والش، کمدین و مستندساز، روایتی جسورانه و طنزآلود را در باب مقوله‌ی پیچیده‌ی تبعیض نژادی و رویکردهای مدرن به آن، به‌ویژه در حوزه تنوع، برابری و شمول (DEI)، ارائه می‌دهد. والش با ظاهری که گویی یک متخصص تأیید شده‌ی DEI است، وارد دنیای کارگاه‌ها و سمینارهای این حوزه می‌شود و با طرح پرسش‌های به ظاهر ساده اما عمیق، تناقضات و گاه پوچی برخی از این رویه‌ها را آشکار می‌سازد. فیلم با استفاده از دوربین مخفی و آزمایش‌های اجتماعی، واکنش‌های واقعی افراد را در مواجهه با مفاهیم نژاد و تبعیض به تصویر می‌کشد و مخاطب را به چالش می‌کشد تا در مورد برداشت‌های خود از این موضوع تأمل کند.

این فیلم، مسیر زندگی چهار عضو گروه "Stairway To Heaven" را در دنیای موسیقی دهه 1960 به تصویر می‌کشد و به ملاقات آن‌ها در تابستان سال 1968 و همچنین اتفاقات مهمی که تا سال 1970 رخ داد، می‌پردازد
