Arkish Aftab

Arkish Aftab is an international award-winning Writer, Director and Editor based out of Mumbai. Originally from Assam, the filmmaker is an alumni of Jamia Millia Islamia (Delhi). He won 'Best Debut Director' at the Independent Short Awards, held in Los Angeles, for his short film Rat in the Kitchen (2023). Apart from directing the film, Arkish also wrote and co-edited it. The film released across India at the Jio Cinema film festival.
