Victor Vu

'Victor Vu' (qv) is a Vietnamese-American film director, writer and producer. He is best known for the films "Mat Biec (Dreamy Eyes)," "The Immortal," "Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass", "Scandal", "Vengeful Heart", "Battle of the Brides" and "Blood Letter (Sword of the Assassin)".His coming of age drama, "Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass" was Vietnam's official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 89th Academy 'Awards' (qv). His films have won numerous Golden Lotus 'Awards' (qv), organized by Vietnam's Cinema Department, including Best Director and Best Feature Film for "Scandal (2012)" and Best Director and Best Feature Film for "Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass (2015)". He has also won several Golden Kite 'Awards' (qv) (organized by the Vietnamese Cinema Association) for Best Director and Best Feature Film "Blood Letter (Sword of the Assassin) (2012)" and the Critics Award for "Scandal" (2012).His films "Vengeful Heart" and "Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass" are among the highest grossing films in Vietnamese cinema history.::November Films
