Erika Takacs

'Erika Takacs' (qv) was born in Wellington, New Zealand on the 9th November 1977. From a very young age, she showed a natural talent for singing. During her teenage years, she sung in many productions and after high school she sung as a career. A New Zealand TV Show called _Popstars (1999)_ (qv) held auditions for potential members of an all girl band, similar to the Spice Girls. Out of thousands of people who auditioned, Erika made it into the 5 member girl band, which was named TrueBliss. TrueBliss became very popular, mainly because of their televised TV show. When TrueBliss collapsed after 1 1/2 years, she was given the opportunity to become the host of New Zealand's hottest music show, _RTR 2000 (2000)_ (qv). She hosted many shows until she was offered the job of the "Video Ezy Girl". She was given the offer to play a small role as a new recruit nurse in _Pearl Harbor(2001)_ , but she declined due to family matters. As her popularity increased even more, she became a member of the TV2 Family and was on Celebrity Treasure Island, similar to Survivor. 4 years after TrueBliss, she is the only member out of the five that has managed to stay in the media business.::John Wilson (a_real_kiwi_bloke@hotmail.com)
