Milton Subotsky
بیوگرافی
'Milton Subotsky' (qv), a major British filmmaker, joined with 'Max Rosenberg' (qv) in 1962 to form Amicus Productions to produce low- to medium-budget horror and anthology films (they also formed Cinerama Releasing in 1966), usually shot in England and Scotland. These included _The House That Dripped Blood (1971)_ (qv), _Scream and Scream Again (1970)_ (qv), _And Now the Screaming Starts! (1973)_ (qv), the 'Roy Ward Baker' (qv) horror films _Tales from the Crypt (1972)_ (qv) and _The Vault of Horror (1973)_ (qv) and 'Oliver Stone' (qv)'s first feature film, _Seizure (1974)_ (qv). Both Subotsky and Rosenberg got help from 'Samuel Z. Arkoff' (qv) and 'James H. Nicholson' (qv) in releasing the British films worldwide. After Cinerama Releasing folded and went out of business due to the lack of British investment in 1975, Rosenberg and Subotsky went their separate ways. Rosenberg rarely continued with filmmaking, but Subotsky kept his hand in American horror films, helping to bring a number of 'Stephen King' (qv)'s novels to the screen up. He died in 1991 of heart disease.::A. Nonymous
