Patrick Loftus

'Patrick Loftus' (qv) is a young West of Ireland actor based in Dublin. He has studied screen acting at the Irish Film Academy and theatre acting at The Gaiety School of Acting, Dublin. He has starred as lead and supporting in six short films and featured in a HSE advertisement produced by Hinterland Films. In 2018 he played the lead in 'Backwater' which won multiple awards at the Royal Television Society 'Awards' (qv), Dublin and at the Royal Television Society 'Awards' (qv), London . 'Backwater' has been selected for 7 major film festivals and earned Patrick a Best Actor award at the Athens Marathon International Film Festival 2020 and a Best Young Actor award at the LAFA 2019::.
