Adele Silva

'Adele Silva' (qv) has been one of the most popular faces on British screens for two decades. A graduate of the world famous 'Sylvia Young' (qv) Theatre School, Silva is best known for her long running role as Kelly Windsor in top-rated British television drama _Emmerdale Farm (1972)_ (qv), for which the Daily Express described her as "soap's sexiest star."Silva made her screen acting debut opposite 'Sylvester McCoy' (qv) and 'Sophie Aldred' (qv) in a scene from _Doctor Who: Survival: Part Three (1989)_ (qv), which also has its place in history as the last transmitted episode of the original series of _Doctor Who (1963)_ (qv). She followed this with guest appearances in popular British television shows such as _The Bill (1984)_ (qv), _EastEnders (1985)_ (qv) and _Mr. Majeika (1988)_ (qv). Adele then joined the cast of _Emmerdale Farm (1972)_ (qv) and was at the centre of dozens of dramatic storylines, working with the likes of 'Patsy Kensit' (qv), 'Patrick Mower' (qv) and 'Linda Thorson' (qv).During a break from the show she guested in episodes of _The Courtroom (2004)_ (qv) and _Mile High (2003)_ (qv). She also spent a year of further acting training at the world-renowned Central School of Speech and Drama in London.Shortly after quitting _Emmerdale Farm (1972)_ (qv) in 2007, Silva took part - and came second in - hit reality show _Hell's Kitchen (2005)_ (qv) with fiery chef 'Marco Pierre White' (qv). The same year she starred opposite 'Spandau Ballet' (qv) legend 'Gary Kemp' (qv) in the short film _Karma Magnet (2008)_ (qv), directed by his brother, 'Martin Kemp' (qv).
