Casey Siemaszko

'Casey Siemaszko' (qv) is an extremely versatile American actor, known for his roles in the 1980s 'Brat Pack' films, although over the last three decades he has notched up an impressive 60-plus film and TV appearances.Siemaszko was born in Chicago, Illinois, to a Polish father and a British mother. His sister is actress 'Nina Siemaszko' (qv). His first film role was in the 'Rob Lowe' (qv) vehicle _Class (1983)_ (qv), which also featured 'John Cusack' (qv), 'Andrew McCarthy' (qv), and 'Alan Ruck' (qv). He appeared with 'Charlie Sheen' (qv) and 'Chad Lowe' (qv) in _Silence of the Heart (1984)_ (qv) and, the following year, in both _Secret Admirer (1985)_ (qv) with 'C. Thomas Howell' (qv) and _Back to the Future (1985)_ (qv) with 'Michael J. Fox' (qv).The second half of the 1980s showed no break from the 'Brat Pack'. Indeed, Casey took a role in the 'Stephen King' (qv)-adapted and 'Rob Reiner' (qv)-directed _Stand by Me (1986)_ (qv) in which he appeared alongside 'John Cusack' (qv), 'Corey Feldman' (qv), 'River Phoenix' (qv), 'Kiefer Sutherland' (qv) and 'Wil Wheaton' (qv). He again appeared with 'Kiefer Sutherland' (qv) that same year in 'Steven Spielberg' (qv)'s _Amazing Stories (1985)_ (qv). A substantial role came with the 'Matthew Broderick' (qv) comedy, _Biloxi Blues (1988)_ (qv), and he reprised his role as 3-D in the sequel, _Back to the Future Part II (1989)_ (qv). He saw the 1980s out with a starring role in the Brat Pack blockbuster, _Young Guns (1988)_ (qv), alongside 'Emilio Estevez' (qv), 'Charlie Sheen' (qv), 'Kiefer Sutherland' (qv), and 'Lou Diamond Phillips' (qv).Casey has added a string of quality movies to his resume, including a great performance in _Of Mice and Men (1992)_ (qv) directed by - and starring - 'Gary Sinise' (qv), and based on the acclaimed novel by 'John Steinbeck' (qv). It seems he has left the 'Brat Pack' long behind, but nobody can deny the top notch performances he put into these great movies.
