Grammy-winning pop singer 'Shakira' (qv) was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, on February 2, 1977. She is of Lebanese, Spanish and Italian descent. 'Shakira' (qv) began her musical career at the age of 12 and quickly captured fans around the world. She won the 2001 Best Latin pop Grammy for her "MTV Unplugged" album.::Luis32789@aol.com
