Cliff Richard

'Cliff Richard' (qv) burst onto the rock'n'roll world in 1958 with his hit single Move It. He was then known as Britain's answer to 'Elvis Presley' (qv). His first film was _Serious Charge (1959)_ (qv) followed by _Expresso Bongo (1959)_ (qv), _Wonderful to Be Young! (1961)_ (qv) and _Summer Holiday (1963)_ (qv). _Wonderful to Be Young! (1961)_ (qv) and _Summer Holiday (1963)_ (qv) were both massive hits for Cliff in Britain and overseas where Cliff was now a major pop star. His next film, _Swingers' Paradise (1964)_ (qv) was not as successful as his other films. His later films were _Finders Keepers (1966)_ (qv), _Two a Penny (1967)_ (qv) and _Take Me High (1973)_ (qv).
