Pretty and charming brunette actress 'Heather Rattray' (qv) enjoyed a brief spurt of fame in the 1970's by appearing in a handful of enjoyably innocuous family features. Rattray was born on April 25, 1965 in Moline, Illinois and grew up on a 400-acre farm in Minnesota. Heather was only 11 when she was discovered by a film producer, who thought she looked like a young 'Grace Kelly' (qv). She co-starred with 'Robert Logan' (qv) in several delightful movies: excellent as "Holly Smith" in the sweet western, _Across the Great Divide (1976)_ (qv), solid as "Courtney MacLaine" in _The Sea Gypsies (1978)_ (qv), and highly appealing as spunky daughter "Jenny Robinson" in the "Wilderness Family" pictures. Rattray had recurring roles on the popular daytime TV soap operas, _Guiding Light (1952)_ (qv) and _As the World Turns (1956)_ (qv). She gave a nice performance as 'Annie Ross' (qv)' lovely daughter "Susan" in 'Frank Henenlotter' (qv)'s outrageous _Basket Case 2 (1990)_ (qv). Her favorite pastimes are riding and caring for animals. She's the younger sister of actor 'Laird Macintosh' (qv).::woodyanders
