Benjamin Ratner

Ben Ratner is an award-winning actor, writer, and director. Best known for starring in internationally acclaimed Canadian films such as _Fathers & Sons (2010)_ (qv), _Amazon Falls (2010)_ (qv), _Last Wedding (2001)_ (qv), and _Mount Pleasant (2006)_ (qv), Ratner also wrote, directed and co-starred in the feature film _Moving Malcolm (2003)_ (qv), which was awarded a First Film Special Distinction at The 2003 Montreal World Film Festival and won numerous awards at film festivals in Canada, the United States, and Europe. For television, he has over 75 credits, most recently guest-starring on series _Flashpoint (2008)_ (qv), _Endgame (2011)_ (qv), _R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour (2010)_ (qv), and _Eureka (2006)_ (qv). He was a series regular on the television series _Da Vinci's City Hall (2005)_ (qv) and _Kingdom Hospital (2004)_ (qv).As a director, Ratner has also helmed the popular series _Robson Arms (2005)_ (qv) for CTV, and the short film _Power Lunch (2007)_ (qv), which premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival in 2008.
