Abdul Alvi

'Abdul Alvi' (qv) is an actor from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While acquiring his bachelor's degree in Biology, he was encouraged by professors within the Theater department to simultaneously pursue a degree in Theater and Performance as well. Upon receiving both, he furthered his training as an actor in both Los Angeles and New York. Abdul is fully fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English, Urdu/Hindi, and Punjabi with moderate fluency in Arabic.Abdul was the host of an in-store TV show for American Eagle Outfitters from January 2013 through June of 2014, hosting over 70 episodes as the face of the company for all American Eagle employees worldwide. He has also starred in various national commercials for companies including Jared's Jewelers, Nokia, Dannon, Dick's Sporting Goods, Toyota, GNC, and many more.Abdul can be seen on the Netflix original series "The Chair" alongside Sandra Oh and Jay Duplass, "Law and Order," and the CBS original series "One Dollar."
