Lauri Peters

Lauri played the young, startlingly cute "Mayblossom Haggen", the sweet, down-home Texas cousin promised to marry "Festus Haggen" in the 1964 episode _Gunsmoke: Mayblossom (1964)_ (qv). She also appeared in a second _Gunsmoke (1955)_ (qv) episode, _Gunsmoke: Take Her, She's Cheap (1964)_ (qv), in 1964, where she portrayed "Allie". She acted well, was endearing in her portrayals, and was cute as a button. She has also appeared in _Circle of Fear (1972)_ (qv), [[Numbered For Death]] (1973), and Ford _Startime (1959)_ (qv). Britishers remember her mainly for her co-starring role in 'Cliff Richard' (qv)'s _Summer Holiday (1963)_ (qv) movie in 1963. She has appeared mostly on Broadway, but can still be seen in these few TV shows.::edited by Rob
