Jacques Perrin

He started out as romantic hero full of beauty and talent in _Girl with a Suitcase (1961)_ (qv) beside 'Claudia Cardinale' (qv). Director 'Valerio Zurlini' (qv) engaged the talented young actor for his _Family Portrait (1962)_ (qv) as 'Marcello Mastroianni' (qv)'s brother. 'Jacques Perrin' (qv)'s longtime work with Director 'Constantin Costa-Gavras' started with _The Sleeping Car Murder (1965)_ (qv) and _Un uomo a metà (1966)_ (qv) in which he had played the sensible heroes. For Costa-Gavras' _Z (1969)_ (qv) he played a main part and was the producer. 'Jacques Perrin' (qv) has played often in famous romantic movies by 'Jacques Demy' (qv) beside 'Catherine Deneuve' (qv) and in social-critic-movies like _Home Sweet Home (1973)_ (qv) beside 'Claude Jade' (qv), for which he was co-producer too with his Reggane Productions.
