Beatrice Pearson

American leading actress who made a brief foray into films. A native of Denison, Texas, Pearson worked as an usher in a movie theatre and as a model before becoming an actor. Producer 'David O. Selznick' (qv) introduced her to actor 'John Garfield' (qv), who was instrumental in her being cast opposite him in _Force of Evil (1948)_ (qv).
