Julia Savage

13-year-old 'Julia Savage' (qv) is one of Australia's most sought-after young actors. In late 2020 she completed the title role in Del Kathryn Barton's debut feature film Blaze for Causeway Films opposite Simon Baker and Yael Stone - slated for release in 2022. She played the lead role of Milly in the award-winning short film Sherbert Rozencrantz, You're Beautiful and the title role in Shannon Ashlyn's acclaimed historical fantasy film Sweet Tooth, narrated by Cate Blanchett. Other film credits include the role of Jen in the supernatural thriller The Familiars. She appears as Edie, alongside Rachel Griffiths in the TV mini-series Dead Lucky, Beatrice in the award-winning children's series Hardball and as herself in the comedy documentary The Funny Ones, showcasing her flair for comedy. Other credits include a recurring role in the award-winning Australian drama series Doctor Doctor, The Other Guy and the mini-series Mary - Making of a Princess.
