William Obanhein

'William Obanhein' (qv) was born on October 19, 1924 in Massachusetts, USA. By profession he was a police officer; he served in the police force of Stockbridge, Massachusetts, from 1951 to 1985, rising to the rank of Chief of Police. In _Alice's Restaurant (1969)_ (qv), inspired by a true story, he played a fictionalized version of himself, his only significant acting role. He died on September 11, 1994.::Paul A.
