Cyril O'Reilly

'Cyril O'Reilly' (qv) grew up in Claremont, California. At the age of ten Cyril's father was appointed Deputy Director for the Peace Corps, and moved his family to Somalia, West Africa. Upon his return to the US, Cyril was accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After graduation, he studied with 'Stella Adler' (qv), co-founded the provocative theater group: The Frances Farmer Memorial Players, won several awards for the west coast premiere of 'Lanford Wilson' (qv) "Balm in Gilead," and starred in the 'Sam Shepard' (qv) play "A Lie of the Mind" opposite 'Holly Hunter' (qv) and 'Amy Madigan' (qv) at the Mark Taper Forum.Cyril has appeared on screen with such film luminaries as 'Burt Lancaster' (qv) and 'Angela Lansbury' (qv), and starred in the NBC television remake of _Splendor in the Grass (1981)_ (qv) with 'Melissa Gilbert' (qv), 'Michelle Pfeiffer' (qv), and 'Eva Marie Saint' (qv). He is best known for his performances as the young Bugsy Siegel in NBC's _The Gangster Chronicles (1981)_ (qv), a reluctant vampire in Concorde Pictures' _Dance of the Damned (1989)_ (qv), and particularly as the troubled teen "Tim" in the blockbuster hit _Porky's (1981)_ (qv) and _Porky's II: The Next Day (1983)_ (qv). A thirty year veteran of stage, film, and television acting, O'Reilly can number _Black Dog (1998)_ (qv), with 'Patrick Swayze' (qv), _Navy Seals (1990)_ (qv), with 'Charlie Sheen' (qv), _The Cool Surface (1993)_ (qv), and _Airplane! (1980)_ (qv) among his many film credits. He has guest starred in a variety of prominent television programs, such as _Murder, She Wrote: The Celtic Riddle (2003)_ (qv), _Without a Trace (2002)_ (qv), _ER (1994)_ (qv), _The X-Files (1993)_ (qv), _Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990)_ (qv), _Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993)_ (qv), _Matlock (1986)_ (qv), _St. Elsewhere (1982)_ (qv), and _M*A*S*H (1972)_ (qv).In 2012 O'Reilly produced the sci-fi feature film _Alien Rising (2013)_ (qv) starring 'Lance Henriksen' (qv) and 'John Savage' (qv) and _Lost Soul (2009)_ (qv) starring 'Dave Vescio' (qv), both directed by 'Dana Schroeder' (qv) and set for release in 2013, and will be adding the 2014 comedy Daddies' Girls, in which he also stars, to his recently acquired producer's credits.::paddyofurniture383
