Ron Nyman

Ron made his way to Hollywood from England and appeared as an extra in many films including the 1952 version of _The Ten Commandments (1956)_ (qv) and starred in _Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953)_ (qv) and other 'Marilyn Monroe' (qv) films. Also the Tattooed Man in _There's No Business Like Show Business (1954)_ (qv). He was well-known as the policeman, Sgt. Charley in the _Mannix (1967)_ (qv) series and also starred in _Quincy M.E. (1976)_ (qv). Badly hurt during the filming of "Battlestar Galactica" prevented his working under the lights, thus ending his career in show business.::Debbie Nyman
