Born on September 15 in New Delhi, India and is originally from Uttarakhand, a state in northern India crossed by the Himalayas, is known for its Hindu pilgrimage sites. Rishikesh, a major centre for yoga study, was made famous by the Beatles' 1968 visit. She spent her childhood in the political capital of the country. She found her foundation in Street Theatre in Delhi Uni and with Aam Aadmi Party's student wing Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti for 2 years.===================For the past 6 years in Mumbai, she has been doing what she does best. Taking baby steps. Literally. From paid non-speaking roles to supporting characters to second lead.Made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with Gulaab Gang as Tara, immediately followed by another film Koyelaanchal as Mrs. Ghosh, who is stripped naked as a punishment of her husband's Dalit Uprising Movement. Other filmography includes: 2019 National Award winning short film Chalo Jeete Hain (2018) and Mai Gayatri Jadhav (2019) as parallel lead, a vegetable seller.
