Craig R. Baxley

Craig Baxley is a third-generation filmmaker. After starting his career in front of the camera, working his way up as a successful stunt coordinator and second unit director on films like _Predator (1987)_ (qv), _Reds (1981)_ (qv), _The Long Riders (1980)_ (qv) and _The Warriors (1979)_ (qv) (with such talented directors as 'Don Siegel' (qv), 'Alan J. Pakula' (qv), 'Warren Beatty' (qv), 'Norman Jewison' (qv), 'Walter Hill' (qv) and 'Steven Spielberg' (qv)), he transitioned making his directorial debut on the acclaimed hit series _The A-Team (1983)_ (qv). His first feature film as a director was _Action Jackson (1988)_ (qv) for 'Joel Silver' (qv) and was the beginning of a very diverse career working in many genres. He later went on to direct _Dark Angel (1990)_ (qv) (a.k.a. "I Come In Peace") starring 'Dolph Lundgren' (qv), Stone Cold and a number of mini-series, including 'Stephen King' (qv)'s _Storm of the Century (1999)_ (qv), _Rose Red (2002)_ (qv), _The Triangle (2005)_ (qv), _The Lost Room (2006)_ (qv) and King's television series _Kingdom Hospital (2004)_ (qv), on which he directed every episode of the series.::K.
