'Art Arutyunyan' (qv) is a writer, director and producer based in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Uzbekistan, Art moved to Los Angeles to pursue interests in visual media of fashion and film. Originally trained as a fashion designer, Art has designed merchandise for major fashion retailers before transitioning to film production as a writer/director.Art's scripts have been optioned and produced and one of his feature-length screenplays have placed top 10% at the Academy's Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. Another of Art's feature scripts won the London International Screenwriting Competition. Some of Art's films as a writer / director / producer have played in multiple film festivals worldwide and placed as finalists. His film Funeral that Art wrote and directed became a finalist at Changing Face International Film Festival. Undetectable, a film that Art produced had become one of the most streamed films in 2015/2016. As a writer/director, Art's projects have been distributed worldwide on VOD, cable, DVD/Blu-Ray & various streaming apps.Art is now the co-founder and Head of Development and Production of the Together Magic Film Group, a digital entertainment corporation that operates two monetized streaming services: BingeHorror (available worldwide on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Play, Android & iOS); and GayBingeTV (on Roku, Fire TV & Apple TV).Art develops TV pilots, series and feature film projects that range in genre and format.
