Rodrigo Lages

Screenwriter and director for film and television, Rodrigo created, developed and wrote the acclaimed TV series _Family Matters (2014)_ (qv). He is also the screenwriter of _The Awakener (2018)_ (qv), live action adaptation of the controversial comic book as feature film and TV series (Turner). Rodrigo co-wrote the feature film _Em Nome da Lei (2016)_ (qv) alongside filmmaker Sergio Rezende and developed TV shows for Globo TV and HBO.In his debut as director and producer with the short film _702 (2016)_ (qv), was selected for several international festivals, winning the Best Screenplay Award at the Bucharest ShortCut Cinefest 2017 and Best Director and Audience 'Awards' (qv) at the Monthly Film Festival in Glasgow, UK. _702 (2017)_ (qv) was also released as a web series format with excellent reception.
