'Rob Muir' (qv) began his career as writer/performer with "The Groundlings" and "Second City, LA". It was at "The Second City" where he met and began writing with fellow performer 'Bob Hilgenberg' (qv). The newly formed writing team quickly transitioned into feature film writing, with a series of comedy rewrites and pitch sales, all at major studios.Most recent projects include _The Family Circus_ (qv), a live action comedy for 20th Century Fox and Walden Media; Meet The Haunteds (2011) with director 'Steve Carr' (qv) and Cowboys and Aliens Platinum Studios. An unannounced feature project for Sony Pictures Animation. Walt Disney's _Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue (2010)_ (qv), released in 2010.Other recent assignments include the comedy, I Love You Again (2000), for New Line Cinema. Their original screenplay, Scared Guys (2000), is currently at Sony Pictures with 'Adam Sandler' (qv)'s "Happy Madison Productions". Bob and Rob did rewrites on _Stuck on You (2003)_ (qv) for the Farrelly Brothers, and they wrote _Father Knows Best_ (qv) for Nickelodeon/Paramount. Their original screenplay, _Small World (2012)_ (qv), is in active at Fox.A turning point for Bob & Rob was in 2005, when they were hired to write _Monsters, Inc. (2001)_ (qv) and _Toy Story 3 (2010)_ (qv) for Walt Disney Pictures. It was their introduction to the world of animated feature films...they were hooked!Their original screenplay, Scared Guys (2000), is active at Sony Pictures with 'Adam Sandler' (qv)'s "Happy Madison Productions", attached. The film satirizes Bob & Rob's adventures as Hollywood Screenwriters. Their television writing includes the produced pilot, _Grown-Ups (1998)_ (qv), for Columbia/Tri-Star Television.
