Kevin Meyer

Meyer was born in Greeley, Colorado and attended the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. Meyer adapted and directed his first feature in 1989 from the Newberry Award winning novel _Across Five Aprils (1990)_ (qv). He followed that with original and adaptive works for television in including _Perfect Alibi (1995)_ (qv) with 'Teri Garr' (qv). In 1997 Kevin co-wrote the original screenplay _A Smile Like Yours (1997)_ (qv) for Paramount starring 'Greg Kinnear' (qv). Meyer also produced the a series of documentary shorts for the National Museum of the United Stated Army in Washington D.C. Aside from original screenplays, Meyer has adapted a number novels, most recently _12 Mighty Orphans (2021)_ (qv) starring 'Luke Wilson' (qv), 'Martin Sheen' (qv) and 'Robert Duvall' (qv), released by Sony Pictures Classics.::C.
