Shane Meier

Shane began his film career when he was 12, as 'Clint Eastwood' (qv)'s son in _Unforgiven (1992)_ (qv). He got a chance to play his childhood idol on television by portraying a "young MacGyver" for a few of episodes of _MacGyver (1985)_ (qv). He was short-listed, and brought to Los Angeles by 'Steven Spielberg' (qv) to audition for _Hook (1991)_ (qv).Shane's worked alongside 'Ed Harris' (qv), 'Chuck Norris' (qv), 'Max von Sydow' (qv), 'Jean-Claude Van Damme' (qv) and 'Stockard Channing' (qv).He's the second of 3 boys of parents' 'John Meier' (qv), and Jane Weir.
