Johnny McElhone

Usually called 'Johnny McElhone' (qv), rather than John. With 'Sharleen Spiteri' (qv), co-founded the band 'Texas' (qv). He and Sharleen write all the band's songs (sometimes with other people). He is the bassist in the band. The band, 'Texas' (qv), has released six albums: "Southside" (1989), "Mothers Heaven" (1991), "Ricks Road" (1993), "White On Blonde" (1997), "The Hush" (1999), and "Greatest Hits" (2000), and their singles have included: "Say What You Want", "Halo", "I Don't Want A Lover", "In Demand", "Inner Smile" and "So Called Friend". 'Texas' (qv) performed the theme song to the show _Ellen (1994)_ (qv), which had the same tune but different lyrics to their song "So Called Friend".::Anonymous
