Patricia Summersett

Patricia was raised in a small village in Upper Michigan, a place that remains a constant source of inspiration for her acting, writing and music, due to it's distinct culture, isolated environment and proximity to rugged lake Superior. Her father is a dentist and her mother is a retired therapist and painter. She is the second of four sisters, all of whom figure skated from a young age and were encouraged to express themselves through dance and song. Two of her sisters are singers (opera and folk) and the other was a national level ice dancer before pursuing dentistry. Patricia began as a competitive ice dancer in Florida, which led her to Quebec, Canada and eventually to theatre. She is now a dual citizen of the US and Canada.Her acting work spans screen, stage, voice and performance capture for video games. She also co writes/sings for her band Summersett, an 8-piece ensemble rooted in Folk, based in Montreal, due to release a second album in 2021. Summersettband.comShe holds a Masters of Classical Acting from The Royal Central School (RCSSD) in London and a BFA in Theatre Performance from Concordia in Montreal. She has also studied acting at MXAT (Moscow, RU) and NTC (Denver, Co).Patricia writes in TP Hylian (the language of Zelda), something she taught herself after learning that she would become the first official English voice of Princess Zelda in Nintendo's Legend of Zelda Franchise. After its release in 2017, the video game LoZ: Breath of the Wild garnered over 180 Game of the Year awards, taking her to conventions around the globe, where she's made good use of this writing skill to connect with fans of the beloved series.::Anonymous
