Katherine Locke

Ms. Locke became the toast of Broadway's 1937 season when she starred with 'John Garfield' (qv) in "Having a Wonderful Time", the 'Arthur Kober' (qv) comedy. She was critically acclaimed as Ophelia in the 'Maurice Evans' (qv) production of "Hamlet". Her other Broadway plays included "Fifth Column," with 'Lee J. Cobb' (qv), and "Clash by Night", with 'Tallulah Bankhead' (qv).::Anonymous
