'Tyler Nicholas' (qv) is an award-winning filmmaker who, as a freshman at Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television, was cast as an on-air host for the acclaimed FXM Network (FOX Television) show, _Life After Film School (2006)_ (qv). After graduating with honors, Tyler worked on the television series _Well Read (2015)_ (qv), which airs on PBS stations nationwide. He also branched out into sports, working with both the Seattle Seahawks and Mariners, and the 2018 Special Olympics.In Los Angeles, Tyler worked non-stop as actor, voiceover talent, and crew on notable LA-based indie film projects - such as _Muslimah's Guide to Marriage (2018)_ (qv), a film adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's _Hedda Gabler_ (qv), _The Gods of Garbage (2013)_ (qv), the award-winning short _Play Date (2015)_ (qv), and _The Hollywood Masters (2017)_ (qv) Netflix series. He also served as videographer for LMU and LMU's ROAR TV Network and held internships at Hollywood's esteemed LBI Entertainment and world-renowned cinema trailer editing powerhouse, Mark Woollen & Associates.Tyler has created numerous independent films of his own, honing skills as writer, producer, director, cinematographer, composer, and - his first love - editor. These films include the feature-length documentary _Priest 2.0 (2015)_ (qv) and its award-winning short version, both featuring 'Mel Gibson' (qv).
