Helena Antonio

Heléna was born in Como (Italy), but grew up between Italy and Spain and studied acting with John Strasberg and Macarena Pombo. She moved to London in 2015, studied the Meisner Technique and landed her first role in the Uk playing Rosa in 'Arrivederci Rosa', for which she has been nominated twice (U.K. and USA) Best Actress. She played the lead role of the mysterious Lucia in 'Sunburn' (released at the beginning of 2020 in USA and Canada and now on Amazon Prime and other platforms). Her Film 'Judith', where she plays the dangerous Judith, has been premiered at the 75th Venice Film Festival. She is Laura, a gritty and intense woman in the Feature 'Heckle', alongside Steve Guttenberg: the Film will have its World Premiere at the FrightFest of London on the 24th of October 2020. She has been directed for huge campaigns by film directors like Julio Medem, Tony Kaye, Maria Ripoll and has also performed 'La Bohème' at the prestigious Royal Opera House of London, directed by Richard Jones. Heléna often plays dark and unpredictable roles, however she also plays quite opposite characters, warm and empathetic. She loves exploring human nature in all its forms and always commits herself completely in the journey, being hard working, creative and very focused on set.
