Nancy Cartwright

Nancy Jean Cartwright is an American actress and voice actress. She is known for her long-running role as Bart Simpson on the animated television series _The Simpsons (1989)_ (qv). Cartwright also voices other characters for the show, including Nelson Muntz, Ralph Wiggum, Todd Flanders, Kearney, Database, and Maggie (previously voiced by fellow co-star, 'Yeardley Smith' (qv)). Besides _The Simpsons (1989)_ (qv), Cartwright has also voiced numerous other animated characters, including Daffney Gillfin in _Snorks (1984)_ (qv), Rufus in _Kim Possible (2002)_ (qv), Mindy in _Animaniacs (1993)_ (qv), Pistol in _Goof Troop (1992)_ (qv), Margo Sherman in _The Critic (1994)_ (qv), Todd Daring in _The Replacements (2006)_ (qv), and Charles "Chuckie" Finster, Jr. in _Rugrats (1990)_ (qv) and _All Grown Up! (2003)_ (qv) (a role she assumed in 2002, following the retirement of 'Christine Cavanaugh' (qv)). In 2000, she published her autobiography, "My Life as a 10-Year-Old Boy", and four years later, adapted it into a one-woman play. In 2017, she wrote and produced the film _In Search of Fellini (2017)_ (qv).::-
