Michael Tyburski

'Michael Tyburski' (qv) is an American director and screenwriter. He is best known for _The Sound of Silence (2019)_ (qv) which premiered in U.S. Dramatic Competition at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. His short films include _Actor Seeks Role (2015)_ (qv) which won the Grand Jury Prize at IFFBoston, and _Palimpsest (2013)_ (qv), which won a Special Jury Award at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.In 2013, Michael was named amongst the "25 New Faces of Independent Film" by Filmmaker Magazine. He grew up in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, and lives in New York City.::DW
