Buddy Baer

Buddy was the younger brother of world heavyweight champion 'Max Baer' (qv). In films, he played giants in _Quo Vadis (1951)_ (qv) and _Jack and the Beanstalk (1952)_ (qv). When television westerns were in vogue in the '50s and '60s, he often played the heavy to super-sized heroes 'James Arness' (qv), 'Clint Walker' (qv) and 'Chuck Connors' (qv).::Anonymous
