Alicja Bachleda

Polish actress 'Alicja Bachleda' (qv)-Curus was born in Mexico, where her father was working at the time. She started performing on stage at a tender age of 6. She studied at the National Ballet Academy in Kraków from 1989-1998 and at the National Academy of Music's vocal department in Kraków. Her silver screen debut was in _Pan Tadeusz: The Last Foray in Lithuania (1999)_ (qv), the biggest box office success in Polish history.
