Richard Kind

'Richard Kind' (qv), a Drama Desk Award winner and Tony nominee for the Broadway hit The Big Knife, is an accomplished stage, screen and television actor who continues to redefine the term character actor. Kind is starring as Sam Meyers in the Amazon Original Series _Red Oaks (2014)_ (qv). He appeared in the 2013 Best Picture Academy Award-winning _Argo (2012)_ (qv). Additional film credits include _The Visitor (2007)_ (qv) and _The Station Agent (2003)_ (qv), among many others, as well as voicing characters in _A Bug's Life (1998)_ (qv) and _Cars (2006)_ (qv). In television, besides his infamous roles on _Spin City (1996)_ (qv) and _Mad About You (1992)_ (qv), Kind starred in the acclaimed HBO series _Luck (2011)_ (qv), has guest starred on many shows, and has had recurring roles on _Luck (2011)_ (qv) and _Gotham (2014)_ (qv). On stage, Kind has starred in the smash hit Broadway musical The Producers, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Candide, and Bounce, among others.
