James V. Kern

A former attorney and professional singer, 'James V. Kern' (qv) started out as a screenwriter and eventually turned to directing. His directorial output consisted of mostly routine "B" pictures, but he found his niche in television, where he directed hundreds of series episodes; he was one of the house directors on _I Love Lucy (1951)_ (qv) and _My Three Sons (1960)_ (qv).::frankfob2@yahoo.com
