Surangana Banerjee

She started off as a dancer. At the age of nine she was a participant and a semi-finalist of the popular dance reality show 'Dance Bangla Dance Junior' aired on 'Zee Bangla' in the year 2007-2008. The first film she worked in was _Aaynate (2008)_ (qv) directed by 'Dulal Dey' (qv). After which she worked in _Chirasathi (2008)_ (qv) directed by 'Haranath Chakraborty' (qv), _Maati -O- Manush (2009)_ (qv) directed by 'Sisir Sahana' (qv), 'Jiban Rang Berang' directed by 'Sanghamitra Chowdhury' (qv), _Antim Swash Sundar (2010)_ (qv) directed by 'Kris Alin' (qv). She also worked in 'Durga' which was aired on 'Star Jalsa'. In 2012, she worked in _Goynar Baksho (2013)_ (qv) directed by 'Aparna Sen' (qv). She has also worked in _Golpo Holeo Shotti (2014)_ (qv) directed by 'Birsa Dasgupta' (qv) & _Megher Meye (2013)_ (qv) directed by 'Pallab Kirtania' (qv) which is yet to be released. Recently in the end of 2013 she has worked in _Open Tee Bioscope (2015)_ (qv) which is supposed to release by April 2014, which is a 'Shoojit Sircar' (qv) production and is directed by 'Anindya Chatterjee' (qv) who is a lead vocalist of 'Chandrabindoo' (qv) band.::http://www.suranganabanerjee.com/
