'Kerrie Keane' (qv) has performed on stage and in film and TV for over 30 years. She graduated from McMaster University, Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, and studied acting with master teachers in Canada and the USA.In film, she has starred opposite 'John Lithgow' (qv) (_Distant Thunder (1988)_ (qv) - Paramount), 'Vanessa Redgrave' (qv) (_Second Serve (1986)_ (qv)), 'Peter Fonda' (qv) and 'Oliver Reed' (qv) (_Spasms (1983)_ (qv)), 'Elias Koteas' (qv) (_Malarek (1988)_ (qv)) and 'John Cassavetes' (qv) (_The Incubus (1981)_ (qv)). In 1989, she won a Genie "Best Actress" nomination for her lead role in _Die unbarmherzige Jagd (1988)_ (qv) (aka "Obsessed").In television, she has had starring roles in three series - _The Yellow Rose (1983)_ (qv) on ABC, _Hot Pursuit (1984)_ (qv) on NBC, and _Studio 5-B (1989)_ (qv) on ABC, and a recurring role in _Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990)_ (qv) on Fox. She has enjoyed a wide range of roles in a myriad of TV movies including, _A Death in California (1985)_ (qv), "A Degree in Deception", _Mistress (1987)_ (qv), _The Perfect Daughter (1996)_ (qv), _Diagnosis Murder: The House on Sycamore Street (1992)_ (qv), _Divided We Stand (1988)_ (qv) and _Life of the Party: The Pamela Harriman Story (1998)_ (qv), opposite 'Ann-Margret' (qv). She had the pleasure of appearing as a guest on _The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962)_ (qv). Recently, she has guest-starred on _Cold Case (2003)_ (qv), _Criminal Minds (2005)_ (qv), _Castle (2009)_ (qv), _Ghost Whisperer (2005)_ (qv) and _NCIS (2003)_ (qv), and appeared in the film, _21 and a Wake-Up (2009)_ (qv).In addition to her ongoing acting career, she is Artistic Director of White Buffalo Theatre Company in Los Angeles, which she founded in 2004. She wrote, directed and produced two original plays, "Fool Am I" and "The Red and White Store", as inaugural pieces for the company, and has since directed and produced "Trout Stanley" and "Nostalgia and Dreams" at Deaf West Theatre, "Chances" at El Centro Theatre and "Looking for Trouble" at The Lost Studio. She also directed 'Alan Bowne' (qv)'s controversial play, "Beirut", to critical acclaim.::K.Keane
