He appeared as "Ralph" in the Starz series, _Gravity (2010)_ (qv), and in the recurring role of "A.D.A. Jeffrey Sinclair" in _CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000)_ (qv). He starred in the NBC pilot, The Frontier, written by 'Shaun Cassidy' (qv) and directed by 'Thomas Schlamme' (qv) as well as the FOX pilot Virtuality and the CBS pilot Second Sight. He appeared as "Dr. Steven Edwards" on The Walking Dead, and conspiracy theorist Frank Cody on Mr. Robot.In addition to his television and film work as an actor, Erik has appeared off-Broadway in a number of well-received plays, including "Y2K" by 'Arthur Kopit' (qv), "Corpus Christi" by 'Terrence McNally' (qv) (both at Manhattan Theater Club), the Pulitzer Prize winning production of "Disgraced" at Lincoln Center, and as Lester Bangs in "How to Be a Rock Critic" at the Public Theater.In addition to his work as a performer, Erik co-wrote (with his wife, writer/actor 'Jessica Blank' (qv)) the multi-award-winning, critically-acclaimed play, "The Exonerated", which ran Off-Broadway in New York City for nearly 2 years and starred 'Richard Dreyfuss' (qv), 'Susan Sarandon' (qv), 'Aidan Quinn' (qv) and 'Delroy Lindo' (qv).They also wrote the documentary play "Aftermath," based on their interviews with Iraqi civilian refugees in Jordan, which ran Off-Broadway, and have been commissioned for a new documentary play by the Public Theater with music by 'Steve Earle' (qv).
