Leslie Hope

'Leslie Hope' (qv) was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and is a dual citizen of the US and Canada. She has directed several episodes of television including _Lost in Space (2018)_ (qv), _The Order (2019)_ (qv), _Murdoch Mysteries (2008)_ (qv), _Van Helsing (2016)_ (qv), _Ghost Wars (2017)_ (qv), and _Aftermath (2016)_ (qv). Leslie produced and directed the award-winning documentary _What I See When I Close My Eyes (2008)_ (qv), which screened all over the world and was sold to Moviola, The Short Film Channel. She wrote and directed the viral internet hit _Gaykeith (2010)_ (qv), and she has directed several movies for television. Leslie served as executive producer on _The Bling Ring (2011)_ (qv), and she additionally executive produced and directed the award-winning _Buried Treasure (2012)_ (qv). Leslie was the Artistic Director of The Wilton Project, a Los Angeles based writer-driven theater company she founded with Charlie Stratton, and she created and directed 'F-Lying: Fellini', with Roberto Campanella of ProArte Danze. In 2019, she produced the feature film _Lie Exposed (2019)_ (qv), and has been linked with the feature film _The Swearing Jar_ (qv) as director.
