Riann Steele

'Riann Steele' (qv) is an English actress born in New York. After studying at Arts Educational Schools, London, and graduating with a First, she appeared in various Royal Shakespeare Company productions including _Hamlet (2009)_ (qv) alongside 'David Tennant' (qv) and 'Patrick Stewart' (qv). In 2010, Riann made her debut screen performance opposite Aiden Gillen in _Treacle Jr. (2010)_ (qv) (winner of the Golden Hitchcock award at the Dinard British Film Festival) and went on to play nurse Lauren Minster as a regular in the television series _Holby City (1999)_ (qv). Various television roles followed, including Queen Nefertiti in _Dr Who (2012)_ (qv).
