Nicole Dorsey

Nicole Dorsey is a Canadian writer and director known for her atmospheric, character-driven storytelling across film and television. Her debut feature Black Conflux premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was named one of Canada's Top Ten Films of 2019, earning Canadian Screen Award and DGC nominations. She directed the award-winning series Something Undone and recently Balestra, a psychological thriller produced with New Regency. Dorsey is developing original work and adapting several acclaimed novels for the screen. Her filmmaking is noted for its emotional realism, evocative use of sound, and strong visual style.
