Italian-American New York City actor and playwright 'Robert Glaudini' (qv) made his film debut in _Lady Liberty (1971)_ (qv) (aka "La mortadella"). Glaudini starred in two offbeat experimental features for underground independent filmmaker 'Jon Jost' (qv): as the seedy private investigator "Frank Goya" in _Angel City (1977)_ (qv) and the titular scuzzy drug dealer in _Chameleon (1978)_ (qv). Glaudini gave a solid and engaging performance as edgy hero "Dr. Paul Dean" in the futuristic 3-D science fiction-horror flic _Parasite (1982)_ (qv). He was effectively nasty as the evil magician "DelGatto" in _The Alchemist (1983)_ (qv).Other memorable cinematic roles are scientist "Dr. Wolf" in the quirky science fiction sleeper _Wavelength (1983)_ (qv), sleazy wrestling promoter "Dr. Tweed" in _Grunt! The Wrestling Movie (1985)_ (qv), "FBI agent Nash" in the powerful _Mississippi Burning (1988)_ (qv), and creepy high school janitor "Shultz" in the fun teen slasher romp _Cutting Class (1989)_ (qv). Glaudini did guest spots on the TV shows _Hunter (1984)_ (qv) and _Crime Story (1986)_ (qv). Outside of his film and television work, he has had a long and distinguished stage career as both an actor and playwright. Glaudini has been a member of the New York stage ensemble "LAByrinth Theater Company" since 2004. He wrote the plays "The Poison Tree", "Dutch Heart of Man", and "Jack Goes Boating".He is the father of actress 'Lola Glaudini' (qv), and he portrayed her extremely dysfunctional father on three episodes of the TV series _NYPD Blue (1993)_ (qv), including the one in which her character (Dolores Mayo)'s death occurs.::woodyanders
