Chris J. Duncan
بیوگرافی
Born in Roanoke, Virginia, Chris Duncan went to more than 15 (possibly 20) schools before graduating high school in Richmond, VA. After testing the waters with Mill Mountain Theater, he began doing productions in his schools in third grade. Once in high school, he joined multiple choirs (including a competition show choir "New Dimensions") as a tenor and acted in well over thirty plays in three short years. So busy at the stage was he that he would keep over 12 hour days at school, generally arriving at 530 AM to rehearse with the choir and leaving after 5PM at the end of a play's rehearsal. Chris credits Ed Kenestrick, April Poland, Daphne Patterson and choir director Micheal Berkley for pushing him into challenging roles and testing him in those formative years. After taking a hiatus after high school (despite having a contract offer for an agent in LA), Chris began acting again in Richmond with an web-based program "1337". After attending a screening of "John Johnson's Skeleton Key" with long time friend Megan Shmidtt, Chris auditioned for his first film; "Democ". Chris landed a role as a comic relief villain and parlayed that into his first lead role, again with John Johnson's Darkstone Entertainment, in the film "The Jester." Since that time, Chris has starred in over 10 films, many with the crew of Darkstone Entertainment who he regards as colleagues and best of friends.Beginning in 2007, Chris also began to pursue his other love, music. After joining the thrash metal band "Malichi", Chris would perform in and around the Richmond area. In late 2008, the band separated and Chris auditioned for a new band, again landing the position of vocalist/frontman, this time for the band "The Antikythera Mechanism" or "T.A.K.M." TAKM plans on having a demo available by spring of 2010 and a full album later in the year, while performing live also beginning in the spring.::Chris Duncan
