Linnethia Monique Johnson was born on December 13, 1966 in Queens, New York City, New York & raised in Athens, Georgia. NeNe's best known for having appeared on the reality television series, _The Real Housewives of Atlanta (2008)_ (qv) as an original cast member and for her recurring character, Roz Washington on the Fox comedy-drama series, _Glee (2009)_ (qv). NeNe also played Rocky Rhoades as a series regular on the sitcom, _The New Normal (2012)_ (qv) on NBC until its cancellation in 2013. She has participated on NBC's _The Apprentice (2004)_ (qv) & ABC's _Dancing with the Stars (2005)_ (qv). She made her Broadway debut as Madame in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella in 2014 and starred as Matron "Mama" Morton in Chicago on 2015.She was one of the regular panelists on ABC's revival of the 1950s game show, _To Tell the Truth (2016)_ (qv).
