بیوگرافی
'Jim Goldman' (qv), born Jun Gallardo, was a Filipino B-movie director, who started his career with martial arts movies in the 1970s and continued to Z-movie actioners in the 1980s, often produced by 'K.Y. Lim' (qv)'s Silver Star Film Company. Silver Star was a notorious but prolific producer of extremely low-budget action films, characterized by very low production values.Goldman directed 'Richard Harrison' (qv) in _Sonderkommando Wild Cat (1983)_ (qv) and _Rescue Team (1983)_ (qv), also starring a cast of Silver Star workhorses such as 'Romano Kristoff' (qv), 'Jim Gaines' (qv), 'Mike Monty' (qv), 'Mike Cohen' (qv), and 'Ronnie Patterson' (qv). The assistant director of Intrusion Cambodia was 'Teddy Page' (qv), another prolific Silver Star director. Goldman directed Kristoff and Monty again in _Ranger - Einer gegen alle (1984)_ (qv), a film influenced by the Rambo series starring 'Sylvester Stallone' (qv), to the point of plagiarism. Slash also featured 'Nick Nicholson' (qv) and 'Gwendolyn Hung' (qv). Another film of debatable note was _Kommando Invasion (1986)_ (qv), which featured 'Gordon Mitchell' (qv), 'Ken Watanabe' (qv), not to be confused with the more famous 'Ken Watanabe' (qv), and former model 'Tetchie Agbayani' (qv) (as Carol Roberts, also in Intrusion Cambodia).Goldman also directed 'Christopher Mitchum' (qv) twice, in _Master Samurai (1974)_ (qv), and _SFX Retaliator (1987)_ (qv), the latter also starring 'Linda Blair' (qv) and 'Gordon Mitchell' (qv). The shoddily made actioner _The Firing Line (1988)_ (qv), starring 'Reb Brown' (qv) and 'Shannon Tweed' (qv), as well as featuring a small role from Monty, appears to be Goldman's final directorial work. He seems to be now retired from film.::Anonymous
